Remon is a lawyer in privacy-, telecommunications- and administrative law, with a particular focus on the technology sector. He supports clients in regulatory investigations and assists them in enforcement proceedings. He also advises on legal aspects of data-intensive projects and acts in mass claims under the GDPR.
Experience & ancillary activities
Remon started his career in 2015 as an attorney at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek. He then worked as an in-house privacy counsel at Salesforce and Picnic. In these roles, Remon gained extensive experience and insights into the business, technical and operational aspects of privacy compliance. He translates these insights into the advice he gives as a lawyer.

- defending an international technology company in one of the largest Dutch mass claims under the GDPR;
- assisting a company in an investigation by the Dutch Data Protection Authority into the use of AI;
- assisting several companies in investigations and (proposed) fines by the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure and the Authority for Consumers and Markets;
- advising on data collection in the context of diversity programmes;
- advising on international data governance and data sharing.
