Laura Sleeuwenhoek
Legal assistant
Laura is a junior associate at Brinkhof specializing in intellectual property. Her primary focus within the firm’s TMD (Trademarks and Design) team is on trademark, design and copyright issues.
Laura obtained her master’s degree in Information Law cum laude at the University of Amsterdam in 2025. She wrote her master’s thesis on the right to freedom of expression within European trademark law.
Experience & Additional Activities
During her studies, Laura gained valuable practical experience as a student intern at various law firms with expertise in intellectual property law. She was also involved in the organizing the Summer Course on Copyright Law & Policy organized by the Institute for Information Law, in which she also participated in the summer of 2024. In addition, she was actively involved in the organization of a large-scale event for the Dutch Cancer Society.
Laura will soon be sworn in as a lawyer.
