In 2020, Kaj graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a master’s degree in civil law (cum laude). In the same year, he started as a lawyer at Stibbe, where he was part of both the competition and the commerical litigation departments. Among other things, he worked on cartel infringement proceedings and mass damages claims in the field of consumer and competition law. He frequently publishes on these topics.
