Anne Bruna, Remon van Saane en Karlijn van den Heuvel have been appointed as senior staff members

With effect from 1 September, Karlijn van den Heuvel, Anne Bruna and Remon van Saane have been appointed senior staff members.

Anne Bruna
Anne is a lawyer at Brinkhof since 2018 who specialises in media, copyright and information law. She advises and litigates on the responsibilities of online platforms, particularly regarding IP rights, the Digital Services Act, and other European and national regulations. She also provides legal counsel and represents media companies in matters related to European and Dutch media regulation, as well as the Dutch Open Government Act (Woo).

Karlijn van den Heuvel
Karlijn joined Brinkhof in 2023 after working at a renowned Amsterdam law firm. She specialises in information law and intellectual property, with a focus on media and platform regulation. She also has extensive experience in advising clients on privacy and data protection law.

Remon van Saane
Remon worked at another firm and as an in-house privacy counsel at Salesforce and Picnic before joining Brinkhof in 2023. He is a lawyer in privacy-, telecommunications- and administrative law, with a particular focus on the technology sector. He supports clients in regulatory investigations and assists them in enforcement proceedings. He also advises on legal aspects of data-intensive projects and acts in mass claims under the GDPR.
